Children & Minor Safety Policy

Orbyt is designed for users 13 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 and take additional steps to protect minors (ages 13–17) on the platform. This policy complements our Terms of ServiceCommunity Guidelines, and Privacy Policy.

1. Age Eligibility

  • Users must be 13 years or older to create an account.
  • We do not offer parental-consent accounts and will delete any account believed to belong to a child under 13.

2. Prohibited Content Involving Minors

The following are strictly forbidden and will be removed:

  • Sexual content involving minors (real, fictional, or cartoon).
  • Any depiction of a minor's nudity.
  • Sexualized comments, grooming behaviors, or solicitations.
  • Encouragement of self-harm or dangerous challenges directed at minors.
  • Bullying or harassment targeting a minor.

Violations trigger immediate removal and may be reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or law enforcement.

3. Advertising to Minors

Orbyt and its ad partners do not knowingly serve ads for alcohol, gambling, tobacco, or other age-restricted products to users under 18. Interest- based targeting excludes sensitive categories involving minors.

4. Reporting Minor Safety Concerns

Use the Report button or email safety@orbyt.social with "Minor Safety" in the subject line if you encounter:

  • Any content listed in Section 2.
  • Attempts to solicit personal info from a minor.
  • Threats of violence or self-harm involving minors.

We prioritize and review minor-safety reports within 24 hours whenever possible.

5. Data Practices for Minors

  • No targeted advertising profiles are built specifically for users under 18.
  • We collect only the information necessary to operate the service (username, email, password, IP).
  • Parents or legal guardians who believe Orbyt holds information about a child under 13 may request deletion via the email above.
