Axis 80 Interactive Communications, Inc. ("Operator," "we," "our") operates the social-media platform Orbyt (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and retain information when you visit or use Orbyt. By accessing the Service you consent to this Policy.

1. Scope & Regional Limits

Orbyt is offered to users in the United States and other regions outside the EU, EEA, and UK. We block access from the European Union (27 member states), European Economic Area (Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein), and United Kingdom due to GDPR and UK GDPR regulations. If you circumvent those blocks, you do so at your own risk and GDPR protections do not apply.

2. Information We Collect

• Account Information – username, email address, hashed password, and any profile data you choose to add.
• User-Generated Content (UGC) – posts, comments, messages, votes, and any metadata you attach (e.g., tags or community choices).
• Usage Data – log files, IP address, browser type, referring/exit pages, and timestamps collected by our servers for security and analytics.
• Cookie / Tracking Data – identifiers set by us or third- party ad networks (ExoClick) to display and measure banner ads. Details are in our Cookie Policy.

3. How We Use Information

• Provide, secure, and maintain the Service.
• Moderate content and enforce our Community Guidelines.
• Display contextual or interest-based advertising.
• Prevent fraud, spam, and abuse.
• Analyze aggregated, non-personal usage trends to improve features.
• Comply with legal obligations or respond to lawful requests.

4. Legal Bases (U.S.)

Our processing is grounded in: (a) contractual necessity (providing the Service per our Terms), (b) legitimate interests (ensuring security, preventing abuse, and showing ads), and (c) consent when you choose to provide optional profile details.

5. How We Share Information

• Ad Networks — ExoClick receives cookie identifiers and pseudonymous usage data to display and measure banner ads. The network provides its own opt-out mechanisms (ExoClick Privacy).
• Service Providers — vendors that host our servers, provide analytics, email delivery, or security tooling under strict confidentiality terms.
• Legal & Safety — authorities or third parties when we believe disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, or property.
• Business Transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale. We will notify you if your personal information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

6. Ads & "Do Not Sell or Share" Rights

As defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), sharing cookie IDs with ad networks may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. U.S. residents may opt out at any time by visiting our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link.

7. Cookies & Tracking

We use first-party cookies for login and security. Third-party ad partners place cookies to display and measure ads. You may block or delete cookies via browser settings. Orbyt does not respond to "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signals; instead, please use the opt-out methods linked above.

8. Data Retention

• Active accounts: retained while the account remains open.
• Deleted accounts: queued for permanent deletion after a 30-day reactivation window. Certain minimal records (ban logs, hashed email) may be kept as long as necessary for security or legal purposes.
• Server logs: typically purged or anonymized after 90 days unless needed for investigations.

9. Security

We employ industry-standard safeguards (HTTPS, encryption in transit, hashed passwords, least-privilege access). No method is 100% secure, but we strive to protect your data. Vulnerability reports are welcome at security@orbyt.social.

10. Your Choices & Rights

• Edit or delete profile data in your account settings.
• Deactivate and permanently delete your account (Section 8).
• Opt out of targeted ads via the button on the "Do Not Sell or Share" page or ad-network pages.
• Email privacy@orbyt.social to exercise other applicable rights (access, correction, portability, etc.).

11. Children's Privacy

Orbyt is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If we learn that we have collected such data, we will delete it promptly.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be announced via the Service or email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
