Crimson Desert is an open-world action-adventure game set in the beautiful yet brutal continent of Pywel. Embark on a journey as the Greymane Kliff and restore what has been lost. Explore uncharted lands, fight against threats that stand in your way, and discover the wonders the world has in store.
So this game will be releasing on March 19th and it is looking VERY promising. Pearl Abyss (devs) first made Black Desert which got mostly positive feedback up until recently. I think they are switching up their focus for the new game and players have noticed with some of their recent decisions with the game. That one was also online. Crimson Desert appears to be single player and will not feature any microtransactions which is honestly a breath of fresh air when it comes to gaming. I am hoping they add in a co-op feature however as I prefer to play these types of games with a friend or two. It is looking very unlikely however.
Anyways, is anyone here planning on playing it when it releases?

Only recently started looking at it. I'm a big of WRPGs (Witcher, Skyrim, Fallout, etc) and love how Crimson Desert looks both large and dense.
I only have small pockets of time to game throughout the months, so I like having something I can slowly advance through over a year.
It is looking like it is going to be a massive game. This is good because it will have a long shelf life for anyone that buys it but bad for casual players. I am assuming it is a very grindy game which is not ideal for people like me that only have an hour, maybe two tops per night to play anything. I am going to check it out either way. Just going to wait for reviews before I buy. I like to wait a month to three months out from release for all new games these days.
