Mine finally kicked the bucket so I am looking for a new one. I want to get one of the top rated ones currently but it is hard to find actual user experiences that aren't paid for online. Most reviews seem to have been sponsored or something of that nature. I want to ask real people what they thing.
As for things I am looking for - I want something that is on the larger side as I have a family of 4 and need to be able to cook/make larger meals. I would also like it to be easy to clean. My last one had a rack in it and it was kind of a nightmare for me. I had to take it apart several times a week to clean everything which ends up defeating the purpose of it making meals faster when the clean up takes up so much of my time.

It really depends on what you want. You prefer a door and one that is easier to clean so I would look at Cosori basket style air fryers. That tends to be the most recommended brand. They have a number of options as well depending on the look you want, the size, and the features.
If you want just a basic one, I loved my InstantPot Vortex Plus 6QT for awhile. I used it 4 to 6 days a week and it lasted me a long while before I had issues with it. The grid/tray can be a pain to clean but you will find this problem with all air fryers. As long as you clean it after every use, it isn't a problem.
If you are looking for something larger with smart features, the Typhur Dome is a great option. It can fit a full size frozen pizza in it and it has both a top and bottom cooking feature for more even cooking. You can also buy replacement grids and baskets for it. It is also free of plastics and coatings that leach into food which most air fryers contain. It is one of if not the most expensive air fryer on the market however.
The only other one I have seen to not have leaching chemicals is the Cosori Stainless Steel smart air fryer. It is about $100 cheaper than the Typhur Dome when it is on sale (the normal price of the Dome is $499).
