Holiday meals - traditional or creative?
For holidays, do you go for the homey, nostalgic traditional feast or use it as an excuse to bust out exotic recipes and ingredients?

Gotta have some traditional stuff but love an exotic or trial recipe too!

Slowly add/subtract a dish each year and keep it a living menu.

I like food. Menu has more to do with my dietary limitations than anything but yeah I'd try to balance novelty with not making my guests total guinea pigs.

For me it’s mostly traditional but with some twists… for example. For Christmas and Thanksgiving dinner, we had pierogis!

I'm going to cook something traditional, but add something new, just for the sake of it.
