I am beginning to notice a pattern of Australia trying to fix things using nature and making more problems for themselves. It seems as though they look to fix one problem and only create a number of new ones. I am guessing they will end up introducing something to take care of the toad problem next and create another one.

This reminds me of Australia's Great Emu War of 1932. The country was so overrun by emus that they start a campaign to to eradicate large numbers of them, but failed due to the speed and evasive tactics of the emus. The emus won the war. I am not making this up.
